The Mudan Reservoir is located in Shimen Village, Mudan Township. Built with solid rocks and soil, it is 65 meters tall and 445.6 meters long and can retain up to 3,119 square meters of water. The reservoir’s water mainly comes from Mudan and Nunai Rivers. Such water is provided to places south of Donggang as well as the Hengchun Peninsula. It is the largest reservoir in Pingtung County.
