The Dapeng Bay is the only bag-shaped lagoon in Taiwan with just one single outlet. Overlook the lagoon and you will see why it is called a bag-shaped lagoon: there is a sand spit serving as its single outlet. The lagoon is around 2 to 6 meters deep. It is 3,500 meters long and 1,800 wide. A boat ride round the lagoon is about 30 to 40 minutes.
