This is the best place for viewing the entire Hengchun Peninsula. As twilight approaches, tourists can stop by the scenic spot, and walk up the footpaths to the viewing-platform. At the end of the path is Gaoshanyan Temple, where you will see many people worshipping. Then you can go back to the platform to watch one of Hengchun's famous eight scenes, "Sunset at Guanshan".
