Fan Tang is a traditional Southern Taiwanese dish, much like a mother's home-cooked meal. It can be eaten for brunch or as an afternoon snack, and it's an essential food for weddings, funerals, and temple fairs. 

Liuqiu is a small coral island located at southwestern Taiwan with the size of 6.8 square kilometers and one lap around the island is 12km. This coral island is abundant in beautiful sightseeing resources.

Inspired by Pingtung’s indigenous Makatao matrilineal culture, the artist set “Mother Earth” as the artwork’s theme. 

In Taiwan’s “Wangye” culture, which is a folk belief, this event is highly important. The believers follow ancient rules, carrying sedan chairs with deity statues to parade through the town and finally burn “celestial boats” to send the deities back to the Sky.
