Little Egret

Little Egret
Little Egret: Little Egrets are usually found in flatlands or around low-altitude rivers, paddy fields, fish ponds, swamps, river outlets, sandbars, etc. Some migrate to the south annually. Little egrets like to live in groups. They use their legs to stir up river water and then catch frightened fish. During their mating period, little egrets make nests in bamboo forests, Taiwan Acacia trees and cassowary trees, just like cattle egrets and black-crowned night-herons.
