Physical Features: Some of the Dussumier''s fiddler crabs have black back spots, while others have white ones. Some females and baby crabs have light blue backs and legs. At times light-brown babies are found. The males are characterized by their dark orange claw sides and two apparent dents.
Living Habits: They live in flat muddy areas beneath the high tidal line and muddy beaches near mangrove forests.
