Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area

 As many national highways and expressways are prone to congestion during long holidays try an alternative route by taking the Shuidiliao fork from Provincial Highway 1 to Provincial Highway 17.

In order to ease heavy southbound traffic on Provincial Highway 1, take the left lane on Yongxiang Road and turn left along Pingnan Road (full road width) to connect to Provincial Highway17, as an alternative route for Provincial Highway 1 southbound traffic heading to Taitung and Hengchun.

In order to ease northbound traffic congestion at Shuidiliao intersection, vehicles bound for Provincial Highway 17 should go straight to Provincial Highway 1, turn left at Yongxiang Road and take the right lane, as an alternative to Provincial Highway 1 northbound traffic heading to Donggang and Linbian.

People are encouraged to use public transportation more frequently when visiting various sightseeing spots.
