Cash withdrawals in Liuqiu
The ATMs of Liuqiu do not accept foreign cash cards or credit cards for withdrawing money in local currency. The post office only accepts Union Pay installed with chips for such withdrawals. VISA and MASTER won’t work.
Thus, please be reminded that, before going to Liuqiu, prepare enough New Taiwan dollars or withdraw money in local currency at Family Mart’s ATM across the pier, if you come from overseas.
