Beginning from Linbian Train Station, Dapeng Bay’s bicycle route passes by Gonghe New Village and Jialian Community. It is also connected to a round-the-bay road near the area’s administration office.
Donggang and Linbian, which the route goes through, demonstrate both the characteristics of fishery and agricultural villages. Linbian is especially famous for “black pearl” wax apples, a street full of seafood restaurants, and grouper fish farms. There are a range of experiential tours to take, such as fishing ghost crabs, making chairs with fishing lines, and cooking in sands.
Donggang is the most famous for its three treasures - blue-fin tuna, sakura shrimps, and oilfish. Oyster farming is also well-known, and it is the most densely practiced in Nanping. In recent years, many of the oyster farms in Nanping have become accessible to general visitors. One may join oyster-themed activities, such as oyster-shell candle DIY and oyster tours, or go fishing on the farms.
