Samaji Coastal Trail is a new attraction on the island. A trail of about 1440m in length links the howitzer front to Taiziye Temple and connects to the surrounding woods and sea views, combining with artist's works and creating a resting platform area.
On the way from howitzer front to Shanfu Fishing Port (L=266m), visitors can see the art work "Seeing the Sea is not the Sea" where they can rest and watch the sea.
From Wild Boar Ditch to Geban Bay (L=644M), this trail is more difficult, with varied terrain and lush woods. There are benches so visitors can rest along the way. There is also a resting platform and the art work "Become Adults" in front of the Geban Bay exit
From Geban Bay to Taiziye Temple (L=530m), this trail has the best scenic spots to take pictures. The wooden walkway is surrounded by forests and the tunnels intertwined with woods are beautiful places not to be missed when the greenery is lush. The art work "Eight Lucky Animals" on the resting platform is based on the concept that the name of all eight villages in Liuqiu (Benfu Village, Yufu Village, Zhongfu Village, Dafu Village, Tianfu Village, Nanfu Village, Shangfu Village, and Shanfu Village) all have the word "Fu" in their name.
