Located in Kenting National Park, National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium is Taiwan's largest marine ecology display center. It was selected as one of Asia's top five aquariums in 2014 and 2015 on TripAdvisor, a famous travel site. Indeed, it is a must-see if you ever visit Taiwan.
"Water of Taiwan," "Coral Kingdom Pavilion World," and "Waters of the World" are the museum's three main display areas. Through "simulation in ecology," it reveals all kinds of water ecology. White whales from the Arctic and penguins from the Antarctic are the museum's most popular stars.
The museum is famous for the variety of events it holds, including staying overnight at the museum. Many visitors from at home and abroad have participated in this special activity, just to feel the oceans' charm and how it feels to sleep among the fish. People's dreams about the oceans have all come true at the museum.
