Dapeng Bay Bridge
This is the first scenic suspension bridge in Taiwan set to facilitate boat traffic. Its special three-perspective design makes it look like a giant bird at the front, a rising sail symbolizing the ocean town on the side, and the English letter A from the back. The magnificent bridge can go up to 75 degrees. Highly recommended afternoon bridge-suspension shows and colorful 10-minute evening light shows are available on weekends and holidays. Traffic control is in place when the bridge goes up. Visitors are kindly asked to park their cars in the parking lot under the bridge before going up the bridge to watch the show. It is advised to go to the site some time before the show starts, so to get a good spot. Physically challenged visitors are, however, also advised to go there with some company to stay safe, as the accessible route is a little steep.
