Sanking Bridge of Dapeng Bay

Sanking Bridge of Dapeng Bay has Taiwan’s only light-projection fountain. Located in the middle of the 120 meter-tall bridge, the fountain has 120 nozzles which can send out water to as far as 10 meters away. Using four sets of water-pumping motors, the fountain draws up ocean water and sprinkles it on the bay’s surface. The innovative fountain creates rainbows of all colors at night, with 60 sets of lights.

In fact, the bridge’s fountain can send out as many as 7.2 tons of water per minute. In the day, it creates a hundred types of pictures such as one featuring willow trees, expressing a different but still beautiful style.

The splendid rainbows it creates at night suggest action and hope. Again, the 60 sets of lights give visitors a unique visual experience.

The fountain shows now start at 17:00 and they run until 22:00 daily.
