LOHAS Dapeng Bay: A Happy New Year with Bears

The Peng Bay International Leisure Zone is launching a special event for the lunar New Year - “LOHAS Dapeng Bay: A Happy New Year with Bears.” From February 14 to 28, 18 unique, eye-catching and lovely teddy-bear installations, as well as an inflatable mascot bear, will be at the leisure zone to spend some happy time with visitors. Traditional fans and charity work – a unique way to promote the bay’s tourism

Working with more than 30 local shops, the Dapeng Bay Tourism Industry Alliance recently launched a “charity fan” event, donating money while selling traditional fans. With every fan sold, the alliance will give NT$5 to charity groups. The buyer will be given a food map in return, which lists the restaurants in Donggang, Little Liuqiu and Linbian. The map also includes comprehensive accommodation information. At certain shops, a 10% discount will be given.
